The newly revised Roman Missal is coming!!!I was at a meeting yesterday in which the changes to the new Missal was presented to DREs, catechists, youth ministers and others. I was not looking forward to the meeting but went anyway.
Thank God, the speaker, the liturgist of the Diocese, gave a great presentation. What I liked the most about the presentation was the connection he made to the Scriptures, to the Tradition. "We are using these words now because it is connected to what St Paul said when he wrote (letter.) He proceeded to encourage us to use all these changes as a way to catechize the people. He was very positive in his presentation even though he recognized there are things that could have remained the same.
All I have to say is I hope this new Missal will help us live with greater intensity the love of Christ expressed more deeply through the Eucharist.
