HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

THANK YOU LORD!!!!!!!!

Today, 4^th of July is the celebration of the birth of our beloved country. The founder fathers dared  to believe that the thirteen colonies could become a great nation, as it has been. They dared to dream and trust in God. Do we still dare to dream and to trust in God? Or are so grown up that we do not dream anymore….? I have read in some place that dreams when we sleep come from our past, but the dreams while we are awaken draw us to the future.

For us Claretians  it is a very important day. The day when the Church with her approval of our Constitutions  confirmed us in the truth of the dream of Paris and Claret, our Founders. The Church said to us, yes your charism has been given to you by God, continue to allow the Lord to transform you and through you the Church and the World.

July 18 will be  the day of the inauguration of our XVI General Chapter, the most important assembly of our Institute, that we celebrate every 6 years. May we be able to remove the ashes that might cover our fire, and let us continue to dream and to TRUST IN GOD.

Hoy 4 de julio es la celebración del nacimiento de nuestra querida Patria Estados Unidos. Los padres de la patria creyeron que las 13 colonias podían convertirse en una gran nación y así ha sido. Se atrevieron a soñar y a creer en Dios. ¿Nos atrevemos nosotros a soñar y a creer en Dios? ¿O somos   tan adultos que ya no soñamos …? Leí una vez que los sueños cuando dormimos vienen de nuestro pasado, pero que los sueños cuando estamos despiertos nos llevan al futuro.

Para nosotras Claretianas es hoy un día muy importante. El día en que la Iglesia con su aprobación de nuestros Constituciones nos confirmó  en la verdad del sueño de nuestros Fundadores Claret  y Paris. Nos dijo sí el carisma de ustedes les ha sido dado por Dios, continúen dejando que Dios las transforme y a través de ustedes transforme la Iglesia y el Mundo.

El 18 de julio empezaremos nuestro XVI Capítulo General, la más importante asamblea del Instituto que celebramos cada 6 años. Que todas, las que estarán reunidas, y el resto de las hermanas en todo el mundo seamos capaces de quitar las cenizas que  tal vez cubren nuestro fuego, y sigamos soñando y CONFIANDO EN DIOS.   Regina
