CONFIRMACION

Hi,
Yesterday, June 12, the 5 candidates from Our Lady of Guadalupe and San Juan Mission got confirmed by Monsignor Victor Galeone at the Cathedral in St. Augustine. It was a great experience!

For most of them, it was the first time in the great city. It was their first time at the Cathedral. It was the first time to meet the bishop face to face. It was amazing!
One of the ladies from the Mission took a deep sigh when the bishop had finished confirming her. It was so beautiful to understand how great the experience had been for her and at the same time how relieved she was to be able to go back to her seat and not be the center of attention.
I beleive the bishop emeritus Victor was so happy he is retired that he did not notice all the ladies with spaghetti strap dresses. I just watched them and prayed.

Even though pictures were not allowed during the ceremony, after the Mass, bishop had time to pose with each and every candidate. They were happy to have, at least, that picture as part of their beautiful day.

My prayer for all the candidates and sponsors. May the Holy Spirit continues to guide their lives and commitment with the church.
